Welcome to Camer Movies Marketing Corporation (CMMC)
We are a small team of Cameroonians who have decided to take the uphill task of bringing Cameroon's film industry to the limelight by rallying Cameroonians and Camer movie fans especially those living out of Cameroon.
Our company is a young but fast growing company promoting Cameroon's film industry. Our inspiration to start this company came from the scarcity of information on the Internet about Cameroon's film industry - a young but fast growing film industry soon to rival other big film industries in Africa like Nollywood.
With this inspiration in mind we intend to do what it takes to put a film industry in the frontline of world class film industries. Cameroonians have come a long way, envying neighbouring film industries and sometimes even getting jealous. The time has come for the film industry in Cameroon to surge forward and catch up with other film industries in Africa and the rest of the world.
Cameroon is rich in wasting talents, youths with burning ambitions to excel in the movie industry, yet stuck in frustration and hopelessness created by a forever-regime that cares less about the welfare of youths.
Cameroon has a rich culture with a lot of diversity. Cameroon, often referred to as "Africa in miniature" until now has been known for it's football. The fast growing nature of Cameroon's film industry is pointing to a new era whereby Cameroonians will no longer be identified with football only. Movie directors and producers like Neba Lawrence, Asaba Ferdinand, actors and actresses like Yimbu Emmanuel and Chinepoh Cosson will soon become the Spike Lee, Wills Smith and Whitney Houston of Cameroon. You will soon be having a tough time choosing from Hollywood productions like "The Pursuit of Happyness", Nollywood classics like "Hidden Treasure" and Collywood productions like "Forsaken Rose" all lying together on the shelves of the closest movie store to your home. That's why we have taken up this challenge to create a webpage for you to keep in touch with the latest news and events about Collywood.

Have you ever watched an American movie with an American friend pointing out to places and people he or she recognized in the movie? How did you feel? That's what you will be doing soon when you watch movies shot in Yaounde, Douala, Buea, Bamenda etc.
We believe that promoting a film industry is not limited to sponsoring a production or taking part in a production. Simply talking about Collywood, Joining the CMMC network, writing an article or movie review, signing our guestbook, visiting www.camermovies.com regularly, referring this website to others, buying a Cameroonian movie at the CMMC shop are all ways to contribute to the promotion of Cameroon's film industry. So do not say "I want to help but I don't know how I can help."
